Margaret Amspacher

Margie’s health care experience began when she was 18, working in a senior care facility as a nurse’s aid. She went on to get her RN and worked as a staff nurse specializing in labor and delivery for many years. As life would have it, a car wreck changed the course of her career and she became a professional health care advocate until taking an on-call position with an In-Home Care Agency. Before long, her love for the clients and caregivers lead to a full time job as lead RN. Margie “retired” in 2018 after 30 years in nursing but when For the People Care recruited her as administrator, she couldn’t say no.

When asked why she’d come out of retirement, Margie explains, “I am honored to serve alongside the staff of FTP. The opportunity to help lead an agency that truly focuses on the care, and staff who provide that care, is what sets this In-Home Care business apart. It is run from the heart by those who have worked in the field. It truly is an agency For the People!
