Kris has over 25 years of experience in hospital nursing on multiple medical and surgical units. This extensive experience includes not only general medical and surgical patients, but also more focused care on orthopedic, neurologic, and trauma units. She worked with catastrophic injuries – such as spinal cord and severe head – including all care required to progress to discharge from the hospital.
Kris lives with her husband and is the mother of two wonderful children already grown into their adult years. She enjoys anything outdoors including hiking, biking, and gardening, as well as indoor activities such as reading, cooking and watching a good movie. All of these activities are accompanied by her dog Sasoo and her two cats Penelope Pickles and Angel. How they got their names is another conversation that she would love to share with you some time.
